Golden Visa Portugal is operated by Appreciating Portugal, Lda. as an information and introduction service. We are not a law firm and we are not a regulated investment adviser. Initial guidance is provided by our advisors; legal advice is provided by independent Portuguese lawyers and investment advice by regulated intermediaries, each identified on the relevant page.

CEO
Michael is one of the two founders of the group. Born and educated in the UK, he studied Physics at Leeds University before running his own advertising company, then spent two years as a financial adviser in Moscow with City Group Services prior to moving into real estate. He has sold property in Cape Verde, Berlin and Portugal, and his attachment to Portugal and the Algarve led him to found the business.

Operations Director
Hannah relocated to Portugal with her family over 19 years ago and was educated in both Portuguese and English schools, giving her a deep grounding in the language and culture. After several years in photography she moved into real estate, where she now has more than a decade of experience, and has built her own property investment portfolio in Portugal.
